Acerola extract (Malipighia glabra) fruit
(berry) (Malpighia glabra)
This small fruit is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C and bioflavonoids. Amongst other functions, vitamin C is essential for the proper functioning of the body's adrenal glands. These glands are responsible for the production of small amounts of estrogen. It is therefore beneficial to support these glands during menopause since at that period the ovaries have reduces their estrogen production. Thus, healthy adrenal glands that are well supported by a natural source of vitamin C, like Acerola, will ensure the relief of many menopausal discomforts.

Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) root extract standardized to contain 2.5% triterpene glycosides
Due to its high content in phytoestrogens (triterpenes glycosides: actein and cimicifugoside and isoflavone: formononetin), Black Cohosh offers undeniable advantages when chosen as hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Various research have validated the benefits of Black Cohosh for the relief of physical and psychological menopausal symptoms.

An experiment conducted in Germany on Black Cohosh, was composed of 131 doctors and 629 female patients, demonstrated an improvement of over 80% of women suffering with menopausal discomforts. Forty two percent of these patients declared having no longer symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, profuse perspiration, headaches, vertigo, heart palpitations, ringing in the ears, nervousness and irritability, sleep disturbances and depressive attitude. The benefits of Black Cohosh were felt within a period of 6 to 8 weeks.

Another experimental double-blind study involving 80 patients suffering from vaginal atrophy was conducted in Germany to evaluate the influence of Black Cohosh versus estrogenic substances on the vaginal linning. Women either received Black Cohosh, conjugated estrogens or a placebo. After the twelve week study, the results indicated that the group who received Black Cohosh showed a dramatic increase in the number of superficial cells compared to the other groups which showed little effect.

Bladderwrack
(plant) (Fucus vesiculosus)
An exceptional source of iodine. This kelp stimulates the essential functions of the thyroid gland, therefore improving the proper functionning of other glands involved in menopause. Furthermore, bladderwrack helps prevent dry skin, excessive weight gain and fatigue.
Royal Gelly 3X (Apis mellifera) standardized to contain 6% 10-HDA
(Apis Mellifera)
Recongnized for its wealth of natural hormones (phytoestrogens) and all of the B-complex vitamins, this substance helps overcome certain discomforts felt during menopause (hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia,…).

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
(thiamine)(chlorhydrate de thiamine)
Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide)
The niacinamide helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-phosphate)
Vitamin-B complex is important in maintaining good health and is known to be helpful in energy conversion. Thiamine in supplement form has been shown to improve mood, mental clarity and energy. Clinical studies done on older women have proven that a thiamine supplement (10 mg per day for 6 weeks) has considerably contributed to a sense of well-being and less fatigue (Smidt LF et al., 1991). Furthermore, a supplement of Vitamin B6 has been clinically proven to alleviate symptoms of depression.
